Michael Linehan
With over seven years at LSI and a role in virtually every project the firm has undertaken, Michael is a driving force behind the company’s vision and success.
Michael’s specialty lies in feasibility and yield analysis, conceptual design, and transforming bold visions into buildable realities.
In addition to his professional credentials (licensed architect, business owner, and board member of RECA), Michael is deeply engaged in continuing education and personal growth. He’s also a proud member of EO and, most importantly, a dedicated dad.

Katie Ehlers
Katie serves as Operations Manager at LSI, where she focuses on driving organizational efficiency, operational excellence, and strategic growth initiatives across the firm. She brings more than 17 years of experience in operations, finance, team development, and business transformation, including over 12 years with Cushman & Wakefield and five years as a teacher and coach at McCallum High School in Austin.
Her professional growth has been shaped by leadership roles across multiple industries, as well as community involvement, volunteer service with local schools, travel, and ongoing study in leadership, organizational effectiveness, and business operations.

Director of ArchitectureThomas Boes
With over 25 years of experience and more than 50 projects completed, Thomas brings a wide ranging background that includes urban planning and design; commercial office buildings from low-to-high rise, diverse residential work —including detached homes, multi-family, mixed-use, and student housing, as well as healthcare, higher education, civic, government, and institutional projects.
Licensed to practice in Texas, Oregon, and Washington, Thomas maintains thorough expertise in zoning regulations, building codes and standards, equipment and systems integration, accessibility, and fire & life safety.
Director of Landscape ArchitectureDanuta Reich
Danuta Reich brings a distinctive global perspective and a deep commitment to design excellence. As Studio Director, she has led more than 30 projects, shaping public and private spaces through thoughtful site design, innovative planning, and precision in project execution.
Before joining LSI, she spent five years working across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Germany, contributing to multidisciplinary teams on architecture, planning, and landscape projects of varying scale and complexity.
Kristen Mullane
Kristen is the backbone of LSI’s planning studio. At LSI, Kristen specializes in navigating the City of Austin’s permitting process, with particular expertise in site plan exemptions. She also has a strong command of legal documentation, including deeds and license agreements, which adds valuable depth to her project involvement.
Kristen has contributed to over 80 projects at LSI while shaping her practical and forward-thinking approach to planning.

Senior Urban PlannerKelly Cline
With over eight years at LSI, Kelly Cline brings a thoughtful and holistic approach to urban planning, shaped by both a strong professional foundation and a commitment to continuous learning.
Kelly’s expertise spans placemaking, graphic design, and site layout design for a wide variety of land uses. Her attention to detail and strong work ethic consistently elevate project outcomes. Since earning her degree, she has pursued PLA licensure and enhanced her skill set through specialized training in sustainable design, GIS, and urban mobility.
Project ManagerIbrahim Kasem
Ibrahim Kasem plays a key role in managing and delivering a wide range of projects with precision and purpose.
At LSI, Ibrahim has successfully led and supported 12 projects, bringing strength in team and task management, client and consultant coordination, and deep technical expertise. Ibrahim has worked on multi-family, mixed use, single family houses, commercial, and renovation projects at LSI. His skills span Autodesk and a variety of design software, as well as city permitting processes and code compliance. Ibrahim excels at delivering cohesive design solutions that balance vision, function, and efficiency.
Senior Project DesignerNate Jackson
Nate Jackson is a Senior Project Designer at LSI, bringing a diverse background spanning private practice and municipal building services. His experience includes a broad portfolio of project types—from multifamily, affordable and supportive housing, and single-family residential to commercial office and retail, custom renovations, and adaptive reuse—utilizing a variety of project delivery methods. Nate brings a collaborative mindset, technical expertise, and a passion for translating complex project requirements and client visions into thoughtful, buildable design solutions.
Sydney Walker
Proficient in Revit and Adobe InDesign, Sydney brings strong graphic design capabilities to every project. She is particularly passionate about the intersection of design and community, drawing inspiration from her time studying abroad in Rome, where she immersed herself in the urban fabric through hand sketching, observational drawing, and studying the development of public spaces.
Since arriving at LSI, she has contributed to development and hospitality projects, applying her talent in placemaking and site layout design across a variety of land uses.
Project Designer
Samantha Du
Landscape DesignerSamantha is a passionate landscape designer with a growing portfolio of over 20 residential and commercial projects.
Samantha is proficient in AutoCAD, Land F/X, SketchUp, the Adobe Creative Suite, and specializes in planting design. Her strong background in fine arts, drawing, painting, and pottery, enhances her creative approach to landscape design. She is currently pursuing her landscape architecture licensure and continues to deepen her plant knowledge through hands-on gardening and regional project experience.
Project ManagerAvery Clarkson
Avery contributes to the planning, design, and execution of projects across a variety of markets and scales. Since joining the firm, he has quickly become an integral part of the Landscape Architecture Studio, currently managing and supporting approximately 10 active projects.
Known for his strategic thinking, intentional approach, and collaborative mindset, Avery excels at balancing design vision with project execution. He is committed to continuous professional growth and has earned his Licensed Irrigator (LI) certification. He is currently preparing for the Landscape Architect Registration Examination (LARE) while further expanding his knowledge through real estate development coursework and industry-focused learning communities.
Tomas Spratt
Tomas brings a unique dual role to LSI as both a Project Designer and IT Manager. Since joining the firm, he has contributed to over 13 projects, blending architectural creativity with technical expertise to support both design innovation and operational efficiency.
At LSI, he specializes in complex architectural modeling, family creation, adaptive families, and parametric design. His skill in rendering brings design concepts to life with clarity and precision.
In addition to his design work, Tomas leads the firm’s IT efforts, handling everything from diagnostics and repair to computer assembly, wiring, and system coordination. His problem-solving mindset and technical knowledge make him an invaluable asset to the team.

Zoe Zimmerling
Senior Project DesignerZoe is a talented Project Designer at LSI with experience and a diverse background in architecture, interior design, and structural engineering.
Zoe has a multifaceted foundation that has served her well in delivering around 22 successful projects at LSI, including both interior and architectural work, with a focus on restaurant and hospitality design.
Known affectionately in the office as a "Revit Fairy," Zoe excels in using Revit to bring designs to life with precision and imagination.
