Our first major step toward the goal of accessible, affordable housing came through a partnership with Graham Development on Cadena at the Falls—a 290-unit affordable housing community located just steps from McKinney Falls State Park. This formerly industrial site, once used for mining operations, posed unique development challenges. But at LSI, we saw opportunity.
By leveraging our deep understanding of the land development code and creative site design, we turned previously “undevelopable” land into community amenities and outdoor experiences that promote health, well-being, and connection to nature. We increased the project yield without compromising open space or livability, making the development financially feasible while maintaining a market-rate aesthetic. Today, Cadena at the Falls is fully leased, exceeding market performance and receiving glowing feedback from residents who appreciate both the quality and the lifestyle it supports.
